COVID-19 Pauses the Planet

Even if history is written every day, we can definitively affirm that we are participating overall in a historical situation since COVID-19 pauses the planet. The collective efforts of containment, although hard on morale, nevertheless made it possible to break the routine for many. Telework from the margins is now the standard for any business looking to thrive. At S.T.A.N.D. Technologies, this new reality offered us the opportunity to revamp our corporate image. The result makes us extremely proud and we are happy to share it with you.

Operating drones with telework…

Since the cessation of non-essential business activities has grounded our devices, we have used our others talents. What better time to redesign our website. Mathieu Séguin has put its IT knowledge to full force to optimize the architecture. Secondly, Guillaume Richer-Lalonde sharpened his pen to create texts which promote our services. Finally, Richard Turmel made his skills in graphic design shine by marveling with his image processing and modelisations. The culmination of these many hours of work has provided a precious showcase for our company. Certainly, the symbiosis of our skills reflects the performance we deliver on each contract, a guarantee of our reputation.

The social distancing threw a wrench as for the date retained for our event DronExpo 2020. Far from abandoning it, however, we had to put its organization on hold pending another date to be confirmed. The obvious enthusiasm for this meeting of the drone community ensures that it will gain more momentum. Indeed, our contagious enthusiasm will be the reason for the isolation that will have plagued us all during this crisis. If the COVID-19 pauses the planet, this is not our case.
