Do your classes
Now pilots of unmanned aircraft must have the same knowledge of airspace as pilots of manned aircraft. Our consulting services will therefore be happy to accompany you on the journey of your aspiring pilots.
For safety to prevail, RPAS pilots must have a certificate when their device weighs 250 grams and more. Applicants must take an online Transport Canada exam to demonstrate proficiency basic knowledge.
In order to allow operations in airport areas, applicants must pass a more challenging exam. They must then submit to a flight review. After that, if they succeed, they get the advanced RPAS certificate.
It passes the test
The evaluators for flight review are experienced pilots who often also work as flight instructors. They previously had to join a drone flying school recognized by Transport Canada. S.T.A.N.D. Technologies has two reviewers for flight review in its ranks. Our flight review sites are in Monteregie and the Laurentians. The most important aspect of this exercise is to assess the candidate’s safety and legality in a context of controlled airspace. Call on our consulting services to organize training and evaluation of your staff with a view to obtaining their certificate. As for our exhaustive study guide, it follows directly from the regulatory requirements established by Transport Canada.
